FAQs

  • Yes, absolutely! Feel free to contact me here and we can chat via email or set up a time to talk on the phone.

  • After making initial contact, I will send you my client questionnaire to get to know more about you and your business. From there, I can give you a quote and time frame for your new site.

  • Generally, I don’t put a limit on the number of revisions you can make. I want everything to be right and to be what you envision. However, I do want us to stay on track so I count on you to get back to me in a timely manner with any change requests so we can launch your site on time.

  • I work on a flat-fee basis per project. Generally, the investment for website design starts around $2000. Half of the total is due when we begin and the balance when we launch your website.

    WEBSITE HOSTING

    Website hosting is paid separately and directly to Squarespace, for the life of your website. You can view the Squarespace Monthly Pricing Plans here. Most of my clients require the Business Plan. Working with me saves you 20% off hosting for the first year if paid on an annual basis.

    DOMAIN NAMES

    All websites require a domain name (this is your website address (www.yourbusiness.com). You may already have your domain name, in which case you can either leave it where it is, or I can transfer it to Squarespace for you. Otherwise, new domain names are free for the first year when you purchase an annual hosting plan with Squarespace. After the first year, domains run about $20 per year.

    ADD-ONS

    In some cases, plug-ins and apps from 3rd parties are used to add specific functions to a website. If any are needed for your site, I will let you know in advance of any costs involved.

  • I use Squarespace. I love Squarespace. Over the years I’ve tried several other platforms, and Squarespace has not let me down. From flexible design options to outstanding customer support, it's proven to be an excellent platform. My clients have also agreed that it’s easy to maintain.

    Because I’ve used Squarespace for so long, I know it like the back of my hand. I also keep up with Squarespace company updates and participate in their designer forums.

  • Yes, I do design logos that do not require intricately custom illustration, fonts, etc., which keeps your cost down. If you need a more complex logo design, I can refer to you a trusted and talented business partner whom I have worked with for years.

  • Yes! Even my most computer-challenged clients have been able to make content and images edits to their site as needed. Squarespace is a very intuitive platform and there are tons of helpful videos out there to help you. And I’m always here to help as well!

  • After launch time, I am happy to help you any way I can and can walk you through the admin area of the site and show you how to make edits and changes yourself.

    I am also available to make updates for you and can give you a quote for that upon request.

  • My services include integrating with your existing social media accounts. If you need help setting up new social media accounts, I can include that in my quote. If you need an on-going social media campaign, please contact me to connect with a trusted business partner who can help.

  • Generally, most websites launch within 4-6 weeks, but I have done quick-turn arounds within a couple of days. I am able to give you a more accurate estimate after our initial chat/client questionnaire, and depending on my current workload.
